    I agree, hard work is overrated. Developing talent in something the market values highly is what wins. I picked chemical engineering because only a relatively small number of people are smart enough to survive the coursework required to get a degree. But it was easy for me, no hard work at all. Work was the same, I was good at it and didn’t have to work hard, eventually I ran the place and made a lot of money. Almost everyone that worked for me worked harder than me, but I made the most money. It’s not fair but if you understand how things work you can win.
