  1. Congrats on the next chapter of your career and life! I started following your blog around the time you wrote about quitting the law firm (who doesn’t dream about leaving it all behind from time to time?!) I’m so glad you found more joy during your leave and found a path back that works for you. As a DC-based lady lawyer who is currently on leave (parental, in my case), so much of your experience resonates with me (even the blogging on leave part)! I can’t wait to hear more about this exciting, new chapter.

What kind words! Thank you so much for your comment. I’ve heard from so many other lady lawyers who have had similar experiences, and that is exactly what I started the blog for. Just to help others and myself realize we’re not alone. Good luck with everything!

  2. Congrats. Not in a position to quit yet – but the thought of quitting my higher paying job once I can live comfortably without it (in other words, once kids are out of daycare) and pursuing something that makes me feel good/makes the world a better place has definitely crossed my mind (about 100 times a day).
Glad you were able to do it!

    All the best
